Aloe Designs is excited to host workshop #6- Composting 101! Ian Lai at The Richmond Schoolyard Society will be teaching us about how to make that good rich earth from our own garden & food waste. Assuming this glorious sunshine stays put we coudlnt imagine a better way to spend a saturday morning on a farm.

$25.00 + hst adults/ $5.00 + hst kids
Come and learn the basics of composting for the urban dweller. From a simple worm composter, to a double bin rotating system you will become equipped with how to start your own composting at home. Join the organic gardening movement and recognize the importance of making green landscape practices easy and accessible. Participants leave with a sack of compost soil and veggie seeds. Class runs rain or shine so come prepared. Registration & payment is due 24 hours before workshop. Kids must be 5 & up. Limit of two children per adult. Workshop is held at the Terra Nova Rural Park Farm Centre with free parking in the area.
