I wanted to share the amazing list of reads our bookclub has explored over the last 5 years. Since our first meeting we knew we were up to something special. We have evolved so much from the early days in our late twenties; from changes in careers, to weddings and marriages, to births and babies.
We meet once every six weeks. We laugh. We cry (rarely and usually from laughing so hard). We feast. We drink. And we discuss. All of our homes are such a treat to nestle into. And none of us are all from the same circle of friends. This in part makes it work so well, I think. Over the years we have read countless books (see above). Each evoking its own set of questions and discussions. If you asked me my favourite it would be next to impossible to pick. Oddly enough our most intimate meeting was over Eat Pray Love, on a gorgeous summer night with lots of white wine, and an amazing summer feast. Every book choice has been special in its own way. Not everyone likes them, but that is part of the charm.
Whenever I walk by homes with lit windows, the warmth of a room full of ladies sharing the intimacy of books, I feel so very honored and loved to be a part of such a dynamic group of young ladies. So thank you: Chloe, Nikki, Regina, Daisy, Racheal, Kari, Kate, Sarah, Steph and Mag for making my life so much fuller.
